Welcome to a new concept in agriculture production - the AgroWorld Today blog - where farmers, suppliers and consumers can come together and blog. The main goal here is to provide greater access and transparency to the agricultural chain of supply starting from the producer to the end consumer. As a farmer in Chapadao do Ceu, Goias, Brazil, I hope to open a whole new way of communicating with my suppliers and with my customers (grain companies, feed companies, chicken, pork and cattle producers - of all sizes). The objective being to reduce costs and increase livelyhood for everyone who eats food.
So, if you buy grain, provide services or supply inputs, this is the place for us to get started making things happen. Hopefully this will become a community-wide, then state-wide, then world-wide way of doing agrobusiness.
